MBSR - Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

8 Week Course

The 8 week MBSR course is a very effective way to develop mindfulness skills. The course includes 8 weekly sessions, a handbook and CDs with guided mindfulness exercises for use at home. There is also a day of mindfulness where the participants experience an entire day of mindfulness practice.

Other uses of MBSR

The MBSR principles and course have been adapted to meet the specific needs of other groups of people. One example is MBCT - Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy - which teaches ways of avoiding relapse into a depressive state.
